Proppy is a simple to use web-based propagation prediction tool which allows users to predict HF propagation conditions, select appropriate HF frequencies for point to point links and understand what geographic coverage they can expect to achieve with their transmitter across time for a given frequency. The below shows how to use the basic functionality of Proppy – leave advanced settings at defaults.
Proppy HF Circuit Prediction: Area
The area tool shows predicted coverage for a transmitter and how it varies over time. Darker reds show higher reliability of communications.

Proppy HF Circuit Prediction: Point-to-Point
This tool is used to predict the best frequencies to use throughout the day for point to point links: The output graph shows predicted
reliability vs freq/time. Frequencies should be selected in the dark red band.
